Did it just happen once or has it already occured several times? Can you explicitely reproduce it?
This is the first time it has happened with Fedora 12. I had previously seen it with Fedora 11, but that didn't have ABRT. I can't explicitly reproduce it. It has occurred after I finished reviewing a set of cards and click on the finished bar. I think it may be occurring when it is supposed to be connecting to Anki Online to synchronize. The error message I see is one about needing to do a full database check after restarting Anki. It has happened sporadically enough that I am not sure if I could intentionally create the situation that would reproduce it. It could also be a factor that I had copied the .anki directory from my desktop to the netbook (Acer Aspire One D250) using Filezilla, and this was the first time I was running it. Even then, I am not sure because I have four different sets of cards and it only happened with the one. Previous times I had seen it were Fedora 11 on an Asus EeePC 900. I don't recall seeing it on my desktop system, which was running 64 bit Fedora 11 and then 12.
Please apologize the long delay: I've talked with upstream about this problem and the main developer told me that the problem is already fixed in git. Since there will be no official release in the next weeks, I've packaged a git snapshot for now which should already contain the bug fix. Currently I've just built it for rawhide, but the package can be installed without any problems in F12 (and even F11) as well: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=152191 It would be great if you could test it and give some feedback. If it works fine for you, I'll push it out as an official update for F12 later.
I will install it and test it. After I have had a chance to test it, I will report back on whether any problems cropped up.
Initial installation and testing looks good. It will take more use to see if any problems crop up, but for now, it seems to be okay.
So far, I have not encountered any problems so the update is probably good to go.
(In reply to comment #7) > So far, I have not encountered any problems so the update is probably good to > go. Thanks for testing the new package. I'll push out an official update for F12 which will be fully public available after a week or two in updates-testing.

Please push these updates to stable now, as the update group containing SIP 4.10 is now headed for stable.
That sad, Nikerabbit claimed on IRC that 0.9.9.8.6 is still broken. :-(
Though that may be a different bug, apparently due to the "show systray icon" option (sorry for the multipost).
