Description Sjoerd Mullender 2009-12-13 13:34:37 UTC
Description of problem:
After the latest update (to f-spot-0.6.1.5-1.fc12.x86_64), the show-leaves plugin told me the packages mono-addins and ndesk-dbus-glib were now leaves, so I removed them. It turns out that after that I could not start f-spot. It complained about missing assemblies.

After reinstalling both mono-addins and ndesk-dbus-glib, f-spot works properly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
f-spot-0.6.1.5-1.fc12.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum remove mono-addins ndesk-dbus-glib (note that this doesn't remove f-spot)
2. run f-spot in a terminal window
3.

Actual results:
Note hidden in the rather verbose output messages about missing assemblies. F-spot does not start up.

Expected results:
f-spot shoud start up.

Comment 1 Christian Krause 2009-12-13 23:15:00 UTC
Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately the latest change to pick up more dependencies for the addins introduced this...

I've already prepared a patch and I'll push out an update as soon as the CVS/Build System outtage is over.

Comment 2 Christian Krause 2009-12-14 23:16:24 UTC
Fixed in CVS for rawhide, F12 and F11. A new package will be released soon.
