Unfortunately I apparently cannot login to the service, so I have to debug it just indirectly by asking questions here.

The most important question is whether there was anything in the Error Log Window (Ctrl-Shift-J). Clear all its content, and then try to paste again. Does any error show up? And of course, a stupid question ... copy&paste to other Gnome applications works fine, right?

Thank you for any replies

Passing to developers. Just quick search for execCommand on b.m.o, gives me a lot of bugs:

I can't create/edit any case at https://tcms.engineering.redhat.com/. Can you provide me an access to it?

Martin, I have been unable to determine how I would go about giving you this access.

The suspicion is that it relates to TinyMCE, so you could see the same behavior at (first example I found with google) http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/full.php

Comment 9 Martin Stransky 2010-03-23 10:22:56 UTC
Thanks, I can reproduce it. Looks like a problem with TinyMCE, pasting to normal firefox elements (like this one) works as expected.
