We'll want the same patch for samba3x, but there might be some differences that'll mean we'll need to respin this. Taking this for now to verify the patch there and then I'll reassign to GD.

Reassigning to gd for him to commit the patch to samba3x. Thanks, GD!

The patch in comment #2 should make cifs.upcall virtually identical to the one proposed for the samba package (bug 517195).
