This bug has been copied from bug #539496 and has been proposed
to be backported to 5.4 z-stream (EUS).

Since 5.5 is out now (where this issue is fixed) , and we haven't had other reports about this issue, it isn't really a candidate for Z stream anymore IMO. Closing as CURRENTRELEASE.
