Description Bill Pemberton 2009-12-17 17:56:33 UTC
Description of problem:

The error beep (what used to come over the pc speaker) doesn't work in fvwm, but does work in KDE and Gnome.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

fvwm-2.5.26-4

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login using fvwm as your desktop
2. run anything that should generate a console beep, like an error in emacs, or running the program 'beep'

Actual results:

no sound

Expected results:

a beep

Could you please test the new version of fvwm? Either in updates-testing in a few days, or from koji now:

This must have been fixed earlier as I just recently noticed that the console error beep does indeed work on Fedora 13 with fvwm.

Excellent! Hope this update doesn't break it again. :)
