This bug has been copied from bug #514926 and has been proposed
to be backported to 5.4 z-stream (EUS).

Tried the initiator (iscsi-initiator-utils-6.2.0.871-0.12.el5) in comment #23 of bug #514926 with the 5.4.z kernel and verified the issue no longer occurs.
