Description Jóhann B. Guðmundsson 2009-12-23 02:18:45 UTC
Description of problem:

Plugin /usr/lib64/pppd/2.4.4/nm-pptp-pppd-plugin.so is for pppd version 2.4.4, this is 2.4.5

FEI since 2.4.1

* When loading a plugin, pppd will now check the version of pppd for
which the plugin was compiled, and refuse to load it if it is
  different to pppd's version string.

Which might be causing this..

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

2.4.5-x

How reproducible:

Always..

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a pptp vpn connection in NetworkManager
2. Try to connect
3.

Actual results:

Fail

Expected results:

Success

Additional info:

Downgrade ppp to 2.4.4-x fixes this issue..

Using NetworkManager-pptp from updates-testing would probably fix it too.
