+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #489479 +++ Description of problem: We have just added postgresql84 packages to RHEL 5.5. The comps lists need to be updated for this. The important point is that postgresql and postgresql84 RPMs conflict and can't be installed together, with the exception of the -libs subpackages which can coexist. Specifically, each of the following conflicts with its postgresql counterpart: postgresql84 postgresql84-contrib postgresql84-debuginfo postgresql84-devel postgresql84-docs postgresql84-plperl postgresql84-plpython postgresql84-pltcl postgresql84-python postgresql84-server postgresql84-tcl postgresql84-test Subhendu Ghosh tells me "They need to go into a @conflicts comp group so QE doesn't see installation failures in trying to install every rpm on disc".
postgresql84* added to @conflicts. all postgresql* packages duplicated to postgresql84* in all other groups
VERIFIED that RHEL5.5-{Client|Server}-20100107.nightly comps.xml contains correct listings of postgresql84 packages in the conflicts group. Confirmed that packages are present in the compose as well. Moving to VERIFIED.
