Summary: SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/pppd "read write" access on ppp. Detailed Description: SELinux denied access requested by pppd. It is not expected that this access is required by pppd and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is causing it to require additional access. Allowing Access: You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ (http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug report. Does hal start the pppd daemon?
(In reply to comment #1) > Does hal start the pppd daemon? Sorry... I don't know... This will happen whenever I plug my Omnia in.
- This happen when I plug in my pocketpc phone (Window Mobile 2003se / O2 mini). - There are a series of denial, each one appears when i generate a policy by 'audit2allow', as shown below. After adding those policies and semodule -i, it works (havn't resolve that for 'hal-dccm' yet):- Dec 27 20:30:59 localhost kernel: usb 4-1: Product: PocketPC SmartPhone Dec 27 20:30:59 localhost kernel: usb 4-1: Manufacturer: Intel.
