Can you reproduce this with the gimp-2.6.8-1.fc12 packages from updates-testing?
NB: I couldn't reproduce this with gimp-2.6.8, doing it this way (paraphrased): 1. pdf2ps somefile.pdf somefile.ps 2. gimp somefile.ps 3. answer PS import dialog 4. pdf2ps someotherfile.pdf somefile.ps 5. open -> "somefile.ps" 6. answer PS import dialog If that's not how you could get the PS import plugin to crash, please tell me how you did it, with details.
I do not confirm this bug with gimp-2.6.8. And yes, these were essentially the same steps I had taken with the previous version of gimp. Cheers
gimp-2.6.8-1.fc12 has been pushed to the Fedora 12 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
