Description Galder Zamarreño 2009-12-28 10:38:25 UTC
Description of problem:
As you can see in the video demo, moving between different cluster nodes requires a fair few clicks. I even have to navigate out of the dashboard onto a different page to select a differen node. It'd be great to have all cluster nodes available in the left hand side panel so that I don't have to click onto other page to go from one node to the other. I.e.

Imagine managing a cluster of 20 nodes and try to count the number of clicks that takes going from one to the other with the existing GUI, you can get the picture...

I hope there're already more efficient ways of getting around these two annoyances. If not, these need addressing first thing. We can talk about perspectives later :)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Jopr 2.3.1 which runs Rhq 1.3.1

How reproducible:
Unreproducible, it's a feature request

Temporarily adding the keyword "SubBug" so we can be sure we have accounted for all the bugs.

keyword:
new = Tracking + FutureFeature + SubBug

Comment 2 wes hayutin 2010-02-16 17:02:20 UTC
making sure we're not missing any bugs in rhq_triage

Comment 3 Charles Crouch 2010-05-18 03:45:36 UTC
Galder have you tried making a recursive compatible group of nodes and then viewing that group in the tree, your scenario was hat this view was made for.

Comment 4 Corey Welton 2010-09-13 20:12:03 UTC
Closing wontfix per gwt work
