Description of problem: Even though the error is given by libvirt tools, this is more likely a xen bug. When doing anything with libvirt tools, such as virsh, virt-install the following warning is printed: # virsh list libnuma: Warning: /sys not mounted or no numa system. Assuming one node: No such file or directory While this warning message seem to be harmless, it's printed in stderror, so it breaks the scripts that might be executing those tools since the execution commands things that the tool errored out. This doesn't happen when using xen tools such as xm. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHEL5.5-Server-20091227.0 tree How reproducible: Everytime. Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
This is a bug in libnuma
ugh, it is, and we already had a bug open for it that for whatever reason got pushed to 5.6. Since the fix is easy, and this has a pm-ack already set on it, I'll close the other bug as a dup of this and commit from here as soon as we get the qa-ack.

fixed in -11.el5. Thanks!
Verified with -11 , but it still isn't in rhel5.5 trees. What do we have to do to get it in the next compose?
