Description Tim Mooney 2010-01-15 18:05:30 UTC
Description of problem:

We just experienced this:

Jan 14 19:20:22 host named[2306]: resolver.c:2500: REQUIRE((((fctx->queries).head == ((void *)0)) ? isc_boolean_true : isc_boolean_false)) failed
Jan 14 19:20:22 host named[2306]: exiting (due to assertion failure)

This appears to be nearly identical to this:

  https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=507429

That may be fixed in Fedora, but it's definitely not fixed in RHEL 5.4.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

bind-libs-9.3.6-4.P1.el5_4.1
bind-9.3.6-4.P1.el5_4.1
bind-utils-9.3.6-4.P1.el5_4.1

How reproducible:

Unknown. We had enabled dnssec validation a couple weeks ago.

Steps to Reproduce:

Unknown, but it certainly seems to be nearly the same as the Fedora bug I linked to above.
