Description of problem:

How reproducible:


scenario 1 
Steps to Repro : 

1)Login to rhq host with valid credentials
2)Configure Email Alert plugin for “mail.corp.redhat.com”. 
3)Create alert for used memory value change and select Email from “To Alert sender plugin”.

Expected Result : Alert should generate in rhq web ui , and we should receive alert email.

Actual Result : Not received any alert mail , No alert generated in rhq web UI.

Scenario 2 

Steps to Repro : 

1)  Login to rhq host with valid credentials
2) Configure Email Alert plugin for “Empty value” rhq host itself. 
3) Create alert for used memory value change and select Email from “To Alert sender plugin” option



Expected Result : Alert should generate in rhq web ui , and we should receive alert email.

Actual Result : Not received any alert mail , No alert generated in rhq web UI.

This bug has now been triaged by Chainsaw on 2/18. The expectation is the bug to be addressed by the end of sprint06 roughly 3/10/10.

Can you please provide more information -- what does the console log display?
What does the alert detail page display?
