I changed /etc/libvirt/storage/default.xml to point to a different path (/big/virt) instead of the preset value (/var/lib/libvirt/images). I then restarted libvirtd to make sure that the changes take effect. Running "virsh pool-info default" gives information about the correct filesystem (at /big/virt): Name: default UUID: ddcce330-45a0-592b-23c7-1f94e76a4a85 State: running Capacity: 1.36 TB Allocation: 1.09 TB Available: 276.13 GB However, when I try to create a new virtual machine in virt-manager, it insists on creating it with the path /var/lib/libvirt/images/windows.img instead of /big/virt/windows.img and sets the maximum partition size at 12.2 Gb. If I go to "Select managed or other existing storage" and click on "New Volume", then virt-manager completely hangs.
