Thank you for reporting this bug. How reproducible is this problem? If you run the program from a terminal, is an error message printed? What is the output of running the following command? rpm -q system-config-printer dbus Looking at the backtrace, it looks like the problem occurred in thread #1 in _dbus_transport_get_is_connected Reassigning component from "python" to "system-config-printer"; hopefully the system-config-printer maintainer will be able to figure this out further or reassign as necessary.

In common with bug #544523, the applet is using D-Bus from a new thread. Haven't figured out how that happens yet. What were you doing at the time?
