Have you tried logging in again?

The wrapper was moved from /usr/share to /usr/libexec in newer mc versions. The path is given by the shell alias "mc" which is defined in /etc/profile.d/mc.sh. This should take effect when you login.

"Have you tried logging in again?"

No, I downgraded mc to 4.6.

"This should take effect when you login."

Indeed, it works now. Thanks!

Regards,
Michal
