Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2011:1079 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE autofs bug fix and enhancement update 2011-07-21 08:37:25 UTC

Description R P Herrold 2010-01-29 22:35:27 UTC
Description of problem:

man 8 automount refers to: auto.master(8)

no section 8 man page exists -- I see: man 5 auto.master, however

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

autofs-5.0.1-0.rc2.131.el5_4.1

How reproducible:

read man 5 autmount

Steps to Reproduce:

as above

Actual results:

... auto.master(8) map and ...

Expected results:

either a sec 8 man page, or a typo correct

Additional info:

Please ask if any questions -- looks like a trivially easy doco fix

Comment 1 Ian Kent 2010-01-30 02:57:01 UTC
Yes, a typo, there is no auto.master(8) only auto.master(5).

Comment 3 RHEL Program Management 2010-08-09 18:28:49 UTC
This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for
inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the
current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this
request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support
representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant,
in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
