Summary: SELinux is preventing /bin/login "read" access on video0. Detailed Description: [SELinux is in permissive mode. This access was not denied.] SELinux denied access requested by login. It is not expected that this access is required by login and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is causing it to require additional access. Allowing Access: You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ (http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug report. Do you have a strange pam module? Face Recognition?
(In reply to comment #1) > Do you have a strange pam module? Face Recognition? yes. i managed getting it work in the password dialog of the screensaver, but i can't get it work in terminal or gdm logins. i thought that selinux causes this problem because i see messages like this one every time i try to login with this module.
If you add this rule, you should be ok # grep login /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mylogin # semodule -i mylogin.pp Would allow it to read the device.
Miroslav, Add dev_read_video_dev(local_login_t)
