Comment 2 David Tardon 2010-02-02 13:37:56 UTC
It crashed on closing the application, right? Is there a way to reproduce the crash?

Comment 3 Caolan McNamara 2010-02-02 13:53:32 UTC
I see a quickstarter, and a file dialog. One possibility (which I can reproduce) is to have the quick starter active, use the file open dialog from the qstarter. Then use disable quick starter -> crash (we make insensitive the exit option in this case, but not the disable option).

So the question is, it that how was the application shutdown ? from the quick starter when the file dialog was opened. Or was it some other mechanism.

Checked in a fix for the above scenario in the hope that its the same scenario that affected you. If you were doing something different than that let me know :-)

This crash still appears in openoffice.org-writer-1:3.1.1-19.26.fc12. So while the fix was required, its not sufficient for whatever is the exact scenario in action here.
