Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 562033
Modification of packages for SELinux support shouldn't be necessary.
Last modified: 2010-02-05 10:21:02 EST
Description of problem:
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. rpm -qi libselinux
1. package libselinux is not installed
It should never have been necessary to modify any applications to support SELinux. It should only exist in the kernel (with associated control interfaces and programs), and hooked into something dynamically loaded into every application if necessary (eg like linux-gate.so).
We are not going to do this.
