Description of problem: The cursor does not render on the left monitor. When moved to the right monitor, it reappears. Note that the cursor, despite being invisible, still functions -- I can click, drag, manipulate images in the gimp, etc. The cursor itself isn't visible. Moving the cursor to the right monitor works fine -- it reappears. I encountered this once when manipulating rdesktop windows, and once after unlocking my desktop. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Move mouse to left monitor. 2. 3. Actual results: No mouse cursor visible. Expected results: Visible cursor. Additional info: Rebooting fixes this. First, let me say that I am very new to triaging noveau bugs, but was asked to help. With that out of the way, is it possible you have bits of the closed-source NVidia drivers on your system still? -- Fedora Bugzappers volunteer triage team https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/BugZappers
No worries. :) No chance at all. This was clean installed when F12 was released and it has never seen the light of the nvidia.ko and friends. A bit more info: after logging out, I lost all display. X would not restart, and I could not drop to a terminal.
