I'm seeing the same thing. Here's a link to my hardware: http://www.smolts.org/client/show/pub_d31ee593-04e1-42b4-8e4a-79ccaef15d5c Downgrading to 1.7.4-7 hasn't helped, I'm going to keep trying older versions.
