I just installed the geoclue 0.12 RPMs from koji (built for F14) on my F12 box to test... guess what, now hostip actually manages to return the correct country! Given that 0.12 is the "supported" version I think it makes sense to push this to F13 and even F12.
Its planned to push it out to all supported releases of Fedora. Being the first stable release in 23 months I wanted it to get a little testing in F-14 first. Thanks for the update!
The only current problem I have with pushing it to F-12/F-11 is that is drops support for gpsd. There's a proper F-12 build here, but its currently a scratch release. http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=2083841
