Description Steve Muir 1999-10-06 21:25:04 UTC
net-pf-17 must be aliased to af_packet in order for
PF_PACKET sockets to work correctly i.e., for the kernel to
autoload the module. Since this is a fixed alias, like
net-pf-4 being ipx, this should be added to the modprobe
default configuration.

Assigned to dledford

Comment 2 Bill Nottingham 2001-07-06 22:37:02 UTC
This appears to have been fixed for a while.
Marking as resolved in the current release.
