Description of problem: The start oder of qmaster and execd in the init.d startup process is both 98 02. Having a qmaster and an execd at the same machine might result in starting the execd before the qmaster, which produces an error message in boot process. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 6.2u3 How reproducible: Setting up a qmaster and an execd at the same machine. activating the automatic daemon start with chkconfig sgemaster on; chkconfig sge_execd on Should be startup order qmaster: 98 02 execd: 99 01 or something like this.
