I just ran debuginfo-install, and it automatically installed yum-plugin-auto-update-debug-info, which is awesome, and then immediately afterward PK popped up a notification telling me that there are a bunch of debuginfo updates I should install. Two problems: 1. If I try to install them, it fails, because "updates-debuginfo is disabled" 2. It thinks that firefox-debuginfo is a security update, it thinks kernel-debuginfo requires a reboot, etc.

Ohh, fail. We've now got a yum plugin that enables repos (and then disables repos) when it's run? This breaks PackageKit pretty hard. I really don't know why the yum guys even disable the debuginfo repos. I guess I'll have to blacklist this plugin from running under PackageKit.
