Cursor moves but whole X is not responsible and needs hard restart. killall -9 Xorg causes some screen flickering, but doesn't kill X. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-2.6.32.8-58.raven.fc12.x86_64 (regular kernel-2.6.32.8-58 rebuild with tiny patch from darktama to fix edid detection, although it happens on every kernel) xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.7.4-6.fc12.x86_64 xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-0.0.15-20.20091105gite1c2efd.fc12.x86_64 libdrm-2.4.17-1.fc12.x86_64 How reproducible: Just do some scrolling and it will eventually hang.

Commit http://cgit.freedesktop.org/nouveau/xf86-video-nouveau/commit/?id=60a394222b410da8bb832935fc525132218b4d94 should fix it, according to developers. I will test it, when bug #558138 is resolved.
It has been fixed in Fedora 13, as I can see.
