I tryed to install Fedora 13-Alpha.RC2 (builded yesterday) from ISO image mounted on my FTP server, booted off PXE. I'got the error about missing information in kickstart file (Bootloader configuration) even I'm able to install from this KS file older versions of Fedora and teher is "bootloader --location=mbr --append="rhgb quiet"" line in KS file. My KS file: http://ftp.pslib.cz/pub/local/ks/pslib.php?rel=fb&arch=i386
Can you also attach /tmp/anaconda.log to this bug report?
Created attachment 399053 [details] anaconda.log from Fedora 13 Alpha
Final Alpha 13 has still the problem.
Does updates=http://clumens.fedorapeople.org/567890.img fix this problem?
Created attachment 399326 [details] Error message from Anaconda (screenshot)
Created attachment 399328 [details] Screenshot of tty3 with error when mounting your updates image The error message is the same (see previous screenshot). It seems like Anaconda did not mounted your image. Maybe it is corrupted or Anaconda did not uncompress it before trying to mount it.
Sorry, I see two files /tmp/updates/kickstart.{py,pyc}, so it seems like your patch worked but did not fixed the problem.
13-Beta.TC0 has the problem still. No traces about whats wrong on other consoles.
I had misconfigured kickstart for 13-Beta.TC0 and when fixed, the problem is gone. The bug could be closed.
