Description of problem: /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/amara/__init__.py has some weird config code at the bottom. With my setup, after installing python-amara (and python-setuptoos not installed), if I tried to import amara in python it threw an exception, trying to find a config file that isn't there. After installing python-setuptools to get pkg_resources, import amara worked. I don't know if other packages can cause amara to load, but pythong-setuptools definitely does. You are right. This bug affects all the current Fedora distributions, so I will issue a fix for F11-F14 (rawhide). I had never notice this problem since I always have python-setuptools installed. Thanks for the report.
