Description of problem: With OpenOffice in F12 it is no longer possible to use a local evolution address book as address data source. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): $ rpm -qa \*openoffice\* \*evolution\*| sort evolution-2.28.2-1.fc12.x86_64 evolution-data-server-2.28.2-1.fc12.x86_64 evolution-data-server-devel-2.28.2-1.fc12.x86_64 evolution-data-server-doc-2.28.2-1.fc12.noarch evolution-help-2.28.2-1.fc12.noarch evolution-perl-2.28.2-1.fc12.x86_64 gnome-python2-evolution-2.28.0-2.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-base-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-base-core-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-brand-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-calc-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-calc-core-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-core-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-draw-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-draw-core-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-graphicfilter-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-impress-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-impress-core-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-langpack-de-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-langpack-en-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-math-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-math-core-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-opensymbol-fonts-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.noarch openoffice.org-pdfimport-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-presenter-screen-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-pyuno-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-ure-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-writer-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 openoffice.org-writer-core-3.1.1-19.26.fc12.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. File -> Wizards -> Address data source 2. Select 'Evolution' 3. Click 'next' Actual results: Nothing happens. Expected results: A new step of the wizard should open and I should be able to select the evolution address book I want Additional info:
Works for me with 3.2.0 in F-13, and works for me with 3.1.1 in F-11. By "nothing happens" does clicking "next" cause the dialog to disappear, or does the dialog refuse to disappear ?
The latter: The dialog doesn't disappear, just nothing happens no matter how long I click 'next'.
Tried it on a fresh F-12 x86 install and it worked fine. caolanm->dtardon: See anything odd on any of your installs ?
You mean me or David? I don't see anything odd, but I realized that I already had evolocal registered as datasource. So i thought this might me another manifestation of http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=109953 and deleted the data source. No change, I cannot add it again. I even removed my whole ~/.openoffice folder - no change ether. My system is fully updated incl. today's evo update (evolution-2.28.3-1.fc12.x86_64). I have three address books. Please let me know if I can provide more details.
Aha, I see it now with multiple address books
Works in 3.2.0, backported fixes. Will be in >= 3.1.1-19.27
