Description of problem: claws-mail-plugins-smime needs claws-mail-plugins-pgp installed, otherwise it can't be loaded. See upstream bug track: http://www.thewildbeast.co.uk/claws-mail/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2138 If the pgpcore.so plugin is not loaded smime.so will refuse to be loaded with the following message: /usr/lib/claws-mail/plugins/smime.so: undefined symbol: prefs_gpg_should_skip_encryption_warning Once claws-mail-plugins-pgp is installed pgpcore will crash if the user has no gpg key defined. This bug has been fixed upstream at v3.7.5. http://www.thewildbeast.co.uk/claws-mail/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2098 In the meantime, a workaround is installing a gpg key as explained in: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocsProject/UsingGpg/CreatingKeys Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): claws-mail-3.7.4-1.fc11.i586 claws-mail-plugins-smime-3.7.4-1.fc11.i586 claws-mail-plugins-pgp-3.7.4-1.fc11.i586 How reproducible: Always.
