Description of problem:
init 1 open a subshell but you never know where you are

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. from init 5 or 3 call init 1
2. ps aux
3. show a bash and sh shell
	

Additional info:

ps aux show the origianl bash shell, you need ctrl+d to
exit and go to the sh monouser shell

This should be fixed with the util-linux-2.11f-17 errata.
