Description of problem: Fence agents manpages are not consistent with current agents implementation. Several options were added which are not reflected in man pages. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): cman-2.0.115-33.el5 How reproducible: run fencing agent with "-h" and compare it to manpages (both switches and STDIN section) Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info:
fence_apc_snmp does not have manpage, especially -n switch:plug was confusing to me (and had to read sources to get to that notation). fence_apc has -n plug and -s switch.
fence_lpar shall probably have the -x option marked as compatibility only, as SSH usage is hardcoded and cannot be disabled. It also says directly in the manpage "It logs into the HMC via ssh..." so that option has no meaning anyway.
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=545682 another one, -G option added and not documented. This has been z-streamed (bug 562263).
