Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2010:0498 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE Red Hat Network Satellite bug fix update 2010-06-22 14:03:13 UTC

Description Xixi 2010-03-17 21:58:28 UTC
Description of problem:
Under Users tab - the list of users - sorting the list by "Last Sign in" isn't working as expected. The sort is not done as per date but looks an ascii sort.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite 5.3.0

System architecture(s):
RHEL 5 U3 i386 platform

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a satellite with at least 3 users with different sign in months (like 2, 12, 3).
2. Login to Satellite -> Users -> Click on "Last Sign In"

Actual results:
It is not sorted by date but sorted as a normal sort [string]

Expected results:
Sorted by date.

Additional info:
This is similar to bug 508771

Comment 1 Partha Aji 2010-03-31 21:58:30 UTC
I saw similar bugs occur in Deactivated List, All, Active and Confirm Reactivate pages.. Where the "Last Sign In" and Changed Dates was using string based Sort. All have been changed to Date as of
http://git.fedorahosted.org/git/spacewalk.git/?p=spacewalk.git;a=commit;h=b813e7d5ebf4118fb5742108db0c9f2c17f67aa7

Comment 5 Garik Khachikyan 2010-06-07 16:03:53 UTC
# VERIFIED

Checked against RHEL4, RHEL5 installed satellites (in i386, x86_64 archs) - the issue is corrected now.
