Description Mykola Ulianytskyi 2010-03-18 20:26:48 UTC
Description of problem:
    kttsd is started automatically by kttsmgr, but kttsmgr says "KTTSD not running".

How reproducible:
    Always

Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Run kttsmgr;
    2. Tray menu -> Configure;
    3. Enable checkbox "Enable Text-to-Speech System (KTTSD)";
    4. Press button "Apply";

    5. Restart kttsmgr;
    6. Tray menu -> Configure;
    7. kttsmgr says "KTTSD not running". The tab "Jobs" is hidden.
       Also it is impossible to add any talker on the tab "Talkers" -
       a list of entries "Language/Synthesizer" is empty.

Additional info:
    kttsd process runs.

    Festival works perfectly:
        echo "hello" | festival --tts

    espeak works perfectly too:
        echo "hello" | espeak
