Description Elio Maldonado Batiz 2010-03-19 03:41:20 UTC
Description of problem:
nss.pc includes a requires on softoken and it shouldn't. NSS does not require the softoken libraries to be linked nor do we want them to be linked.
Reported by Bob Relyea while working with pam_pkcs11.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): nss 3.12.6.
How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Actual results:
Requires: nspr >= %NSPR_VERSION%, nss-util >= %NSSUTIL_VERSION%, nss-softokn >= %SOFTOKEN_VERSION% is the offending line

Expected results:
Requires: nspr >= %NSPR_VERSION%, nss-util >= %NSSUTIL_VERSION%
is the correct line.

Additional info:
The nss-softokn's shared libraries are signed and thus are nss-softokn-prelink configuration file. All access must be via dynamic linking.
