Description of problem:
The joystick options cannot be set or changed via make xconfig,
make menuconfig or make config

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.cd to the 2.4.9-13 kernel source tree
2.make mrproper
3.make xconfig
4.select the character devices group
5.select the joystick group
6.attempt to change any joystick value
	

Actual Results:  One cannot change any joystick value

Expected Results:  One can set joystick values to Y, M or N as needed

Oops, never mind ... I did not have input core support for joysticks enabled.

Perhaps the menus should be changed so that the things like the joystick
menu becomes a sub-menu under the joystick line in the corte input menu?
