Description of problem: Every time I need to submit a bug report through abrt I need to re-enter the Buzilla password. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 1.0.8-3 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. After a crash, click the abrt icon in the notification tray. 2. Select an unreported crash and click "report" (the upward arrow) 3. In the dialog, approve you checked the stack trace and click to submit Actual results: A dialog pops up telling you you need to re-enter your bugzilla login and password Expected results: After I entered the bugzilla login and password once, I expect the dialog to popup and let me know that the bugzilla account information is already available and I need to only click the bugzilla button if I want to change it. At this point I should be able to just click the OK button to complete post.
Hi, it stores the BZ credentials in gnome-kerying, so if it doesn't then it probably means that you've found a bug. There was a bug in g-k in earlier F13, so I would suggest you to update it and try again. Another case when this fails is when you run abrt-gui under different user then the desktop session (like after "su"). J.
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm using KDE. gnome-keyring 2.30.0-1 is installed and running (because I use some GNOME programs on a day to day basis), so if its supposed to work with gnome-keyring-daemon running under KDE then we indeed have a bug.
As Jiri Moskovcak noted, this is not a bug: Abrt should remember the user name and password for the Bugzilla login, but fails to do so under KDE even though gnome-keyring-daemon is running. I'd like to request that the severity of this ticket will be changed to something more appropriate then "low" considering this is not a wishlist but a bug. Thanks in advance.
