Description Wesley Harrell 2010-04-13 19:40:50 UTC
Description of problem:

After update to hplip-3.10.2-4.fc12 certain hpcups color printer drivers no longer function properly. The drivers I am having trouble with are:

HP Color LasetJet 5550 pcl3, hpcups 3.10.2 (en)
HP Color LasetJet 4700 pcl3, hpcups 3.10.2 (en)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

hplip-3.10.2-4.fc12

How reproducible:

If hpcups drivers are used, black ink is printed in place of whitespace. Switching to postscript driver works fine. Also test prints work, so it is not a printer issue. I created a completely new queue with hpcups driver and same result, black printed in place of whitespace.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Use hpcups color printer drivers
2. print
3.

Actual results:

black ink printed to whitespace, even on cover sheet.

Expected results:

proper printout

Should have added that we are having no issues with our black&white printers running updated hpcups.
