Description Stefan Schulze Frielinghaus 2010-04-14 19:43:45 UTC
Description of problem:
When using kernel 2.6.33.2-42 all gray parts are very bright and more or less
vanished. If mode setting is disabled, then everything is fine. I didn't have this problem with kernel 2.6.33-1. Only since 2.6.33.1-19. Therefore, I guess this is a kernel bug and not a Xorg bug. For a better description of the problem, please see the attached photos. If you need anything else please let me know.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
2.6.33.2-42

How reproducible:
Boot with kernel based mode setting.

The problem seems to be fixed in kernel version 2.6.33.4-95

Therefore, I close this bug.
