Description of problem:

While testing the nouveau driver for the 2010-04-13 test day, when running the fast user switch test, my USB attached mouse and keyboard do not work when viewing the gdm login prompt

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Follow instructions at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_nouveau_fastuserswitch

Actual results:

* 2nd gdm login prompt displayed
* Unable to use mouse or keyboard (local or USB attached)

Expected results:

* local and USB mouse+keyboard should work

Additional info:

* I unplugged and replugged the USB mouse/keyboard several times, while the USB devices continue to not work, this allows my local keyboard to work.

* I'm able to remotely ssh into the system and run 'chvt' to return to my initial desktop

* After getting the local keyboard to work again, as soon as I change to tty7 (2nd gdm-greeting login prompt), the keyboard fails to work again

* dmesg shows ...

Comment 2 Chuck Ebbert 2010-08-27 06:59:06 UTC
Is this still a problem?

Comment 3 Josh Boyer 2011-08-26 18:36:14 UTC
No comments in over a year. I'm going to guess that 1) we'd rather this get fixed on f16 if it's an issue and 2) this wasn't really a high priority bug.

Closing this out as WONTFIX. Please open a new bug if f16 still shows similar issues.
