Description Yuriy Malchenko 2010-04-20 18:25:17 UTC
abrt 1.0.8 detected a crash.

architecture: x86_64
Attached file: backtrace
cmdline: /usr/bin/pulseaudio --start --log-target=syslog
comment: Without jack and jack modules in pulseaudio there are no crashes.
component: pulseaudio
executable: /usr/bin/pulseaudio
kernel: 2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64
package: pulseaudio-0.9.21-5.fc12
rating: 4
reason: Process /usr/bin/pulseaudio was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
release: Fedora release 12 (Constantine)

How to reproduce
-----
1. Start jack, kill pulseaudio (with auto spawn), load pulseaudio jack modules:
#!/bin/sh
killall pulseaudio; sleep 3
pactl load-module module-jack-sink channels=2 > /tmp/pulse-jack-sink
pactl load-module module-jack-source channels=2 > /tmp/pulse-jack-source

2. Start playback (last.fm in Rhythmbox, as an example)

3. Eventually pulseaudio crashes.

Hi Yuriy,

Thanks for reporting this issue. I am closing this ticket as duplicate of BZ#530004 that has been reported in originally in F12 (and it looks like it was fixed for F12, even if an other issue is raised with Jack, it looks like a different issue).

Please, feel free to comment BZ#530004 to report anything you might find relevant.

Regards.
