Clock preferences

Description of problem:
For some reasons I don't know, the clock applet of the gnome-panel no more shows a short (yellow background) wheater info when traversing it with the mouse pointer. Possibly, this happend after the most recent yum update.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install the clock applet in a gnome panel, with weather info enabled.
  Then go with the mouse over the clock applet. Only the text "Click to view
  your appointments and tasks" is shown.
