Description of problem: If the timeline is scrolled a little down, a refresh resets the scroll. Not a problem most of the time, but if you are trying to catch up in the morning, it's quite annoying. What's strange, it happens at irregular intervals (not once in 5 minutes -- which would be enough to read the saved scrollback). Sometimes it does have a good gap. I tried to verify for this bug filing and had to wait minutes for it to occur. But sometimes it keeps resetting it every 10 seconds. The old gwibber did not do that, it used an algorithm similar to Xchat's (only upside-down). Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gwibber-2.30.0.1-1.fc12.noarch How reproducible: Synchronous, but needs a small time to happen first. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start gwibber 2. offset the scrollbar a little 3. wait Actual results: Scrollbar is reset to the top Expected results: Scrollbar is either not changed (less desirable), or shifted a little bit according to the number of new messages so that current messages are kept in the same poistion (until we run out of scrollback).
