Description Andrew Hecox 2010-05-02 20:42:41 UTC
in order to enable better troubleshooting/debugging for RHEL 5.6, anaconda should include the report functionality which it is shipping as part of RHEL 6 GA.

Comment 1 Chris Lumens 2010-05-03 15:25:49 UTC
That would be nice, but I don't think it's reasonably doable:

* Requires reworking anaconda's exception handling UI including translation changes and documentation changes.

* Requires adding python-meh and python-bugzilla to RHEL5 and making sure they work with whatever version of python is in there.

* Requires removing and reworking a lot of anaconda's exception reporting guts, which has a high chance of introducing new problems.
