F13 currently includes a prerelease of glibc 2.12 (2.11.90), lately we've always updated glibc to the final version shortly before release, so that we don't ship with "beta" stuff. glibc 2.12 has been released on Monday and is currently building in koji. Once it is built, valgrind will need to be rebuilt against it with a small patch so that it uses *2.12* suppressions instead of *2.11* (again, the same thing we've done in F11/F10/F9/...).
glibc-2.12-1 has been built.
it would be a lot easier if 'shortly before release' were, well, a _tad_ less 'shortly'... you need to submit this as an update in the usual way for it to get included, thanks.
sorry, to make that clearer: you have to submit it through bodhi for us to be able to pull it in for the RC / final builds, we don't just pull stuff from koji.
Well, I wanted to build valgrind at the same time too and filed a trac request for that. But guess I can file a bodhi request for glibc now as well.
glibc-2.12-1 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 13. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/glibc-2.12-1
you can update the update request and add valgrind to it as soon as that build's done, i guess. just that we're working to a very tight timescale for final :/
glibc-2.12-1, valgrind-3.5.0-17.fc13 has been pushed to the Fedora 13 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
