---Problem Description--- Using the order "multipathd -k" to remove all the paths of a LUN with I/O running ,the order prompts that all the paths are removed succesfully but actually there is a path left to run the I/O. Contact Information = lizhhua.com ---Additional Hardware Info--- The host is in a SAN. ---uname output--- Linux dpotux28.storage.tucson.ibm.com 2.6.18-194.el5 #1 SMP Tue Mar 16 21:52:43 EDT 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux Machine Type = i386 ---Debugger--- A debugger is not configured ---Steps to Reproduce--- 1.Set up the host to a SAN. 2.multipath -ll LUNname. 3.Run I/O on the LUN. 4.multipathd -k >del path pathname(delete all the paths of the LUN) 5.multipath -ll LUNname. We can see there is a path left. ---Device Driver Tools Component Data--- /etc/selinux/config output: # This file controls the state of SELinux on the system. # SELINUX= can take one of these three values: # enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced. # permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing. # disabled - SELinux is fully disabled. fyi .. IBM is not pursuing this bugzilla and therefore this Red Hat bugzilla can be closed ...
