Description IBM Bug Proxy 2010-05-14 16:40:58 EDT
---Problem Description---
Using the order "multipathd -k" to remove all the paths of a LUN with I/O
running ,the order prompts that all the paths are removed
succesfully but actually there is a path left to run the I/O.

Contact Information = lizhhua@cn.ibm.com

---Additional Hardware Info---
The host is in a SAN.

---uname output---
Linux dpotux28.storage.tucson.ibm.com 2.6.18-194.el5 #1 SMP Tue Mar 16 21:52:43
EDT 2010 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Machine Type = i386

---Debugger---
A debugger is not configured

---Steps to Reproduce---
1.Set up the host to a SAN.
2.multipath -ll LUNname.
3.Run I/O on the LUN.
4.multipathd -k
>del path pathname(delete all the paths of the LUN)
5.multipath -ll LUNname.
We can see there is a path left.

The details looks like as follows:
This order is used to run I/O on the LUN.

I think when we delete the last path of the LUN with I/O running , the prompt
should be not "ok" as the last path is not deleted.
