Description robert fairb 2010-05-17 01:01:08 EDT
Description of problem:
ive been using labrea for a few months and I've noticed a significant improvement in network security and i really think that alot more people would use it if it had a nicer gui.
i also think that it could be integrated with the gui for the fedora firewall then we could disable it or reconfigure it for different network set-ups as needed, or event just have it turned off by default, maybey give it a checkbox hat says use tarpiting .

so my piont is im requesting that fedora use labrea as a default package with a simple gui <so i guess thats really two features >

i think when a hacker realizes you use fedora linux and that it has one or more tarpits they'll probably leave you alone

please fell free to email if possible me if you have a question about the neat idea

This is more of a upstream request, involving multiple parties.
I am going to get this upstream and see if they want to do it.
